Homemade Croissants Recipe

Have you ever felt a craving need for something sweet suddenly, but you feel too lazy to go to the store?

In my house, this happens quite often. Quite often the kids are the ones looking for sweets, and what can be tastier than Nutella and of course, croissants.

That’s why I always have it in the freezer ready-rolled puff pastry. This recipe is fantastic as it is quick.

INGREDIENTS

Ready-rolled puff pastry from the supermarket

Nutella or jam

Egg yolk – 1

Milk – 1 spoon

Powdered sugar – 2 spoons

STEP 1

Unpack the pastry and spread it out like a sheet, cut the sheet in three parts, if you would like the croissants to be bigger, cut the sheet in half along with the fission, after that cut little triangles(like in my picture).

STEP 2

Place Nutella on every triangle and roll them.

STEP 3

While the oven is heating to 180 degrees Celsius, you grease the croissants on top with the egg yolk mixed with a tablespoon of milk.

STEP 4

Leave the baking tray with croissants in the oven for 17-20 minutes, until the croissants become golden.

Step 5

Take the croissants out from the oven and drizzle on top of them with powdered sugar.

You can serve them with a hot drink or with a glass of milk.

Enjoy the croissants.
