200 grams of sugar
200 grams of butter
500 grams of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Chocolate 100 grams
In a large bowl mix the eggs with sugar until the sugar has melted. Add the butter (I melt the butter a little in the microwave), add the flour, vanilla and baking powder.
Mix all together. You have to get a dough that is not hard and non-sticky due to the butter.
Give the biscuits a unique shape with the help of the mincer. Place a piece of dough in it and…… here they are!
You can make them as long as you want and test the shape you like best. Arrange the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Preheat the oven at 180 degrees, then place the biscuits in the oven for 12-15 minutes.
If you want to decor the biscuits with chocolate and coconut flakes, follow the instructions. If not, you can skip step 4 and 5 and start enjoying the biscuits as soon as they are ready.
Melt the chocolate using the bath method;
The process is simple:
- place a large pan with an inch of water on a burner.
- place the chopped chocolate in a heat-resistant bowl and place the bowl directly in the water.
- bring the water to low heat, then turn off the flame and let the chocolate sit until it melts.
When the biscuits are ready: with a kitchen brush, paint almost half of the biscuits with chocolate and give them a bath in coconut flakes. Let them cool.
These cookies are best served soon after baking, that’s when they’ll be the crispiest. They will soften the longer they’re stored. That’s why I recommend you to keep the biscuits in a paper box and a dry place.
